As someone from New Orleans myself, I can honestly say that not one of these paintings evokes New Orleans or anything remotely resembling it--not even from a fantasy approach. It reminds me more of downtown disney or a strip mall. How sad.
Lovely!!! And from the looks of the butler carrying all that luggage around, I'm guessing that Prince Naveen will have a slight "arrogant" air about him, but hey, I love that bad-boy image and it's better than the typical "La-di-Da Prince" image.
I've been sitting here gaping at the screen for the last 10 minutes.... man.. this movie is going to kick butt... It has to. T__T The future of 2D animated film depends on it.
Um, some people are complaining that it doesn't look like New Orleans. Claiming that they've been there or live there, but honestly... it wouldn't look anything like present day New Orleans. I believe the decade is 1950.
I'm, personally, very excited. I think Tiana is just stunning.
